Intranet Coordinator - Professional Services
One of the worlds largest professional services firms has a requirement for Intranet Coordinator to join their Knowledge Management Services team and be based from their South East London UK HQ. This role will focus on the publishing, structure and content of their SharePoint intranet, particularly as the firm moves to SharePoint Online over the next few months. It would be extremely suitable for someone with a small amount of similar experience, looking for a step up in responsibility of the challenge of a role in a complex corporate environment.
In this role, the primary responsibilities and objectives include, but are not limited to:
- Building and publishing pages in SharePoint under the direction of the Content Lead and as part of a small close-knit team
- Review, manage and updating existing content and pages and site maintenance
- Become a subject matter expert and advisor to content authors within the firm
- Working with stakeholders in the firm to identify their needs and to propose solutions
- Supporting the team and Content Lead with intranet projects including the overarching project to move to SP Online
Suitable candidates will need the following experience and skills:
- Some experience in a similar role, ideally working with a corporate intranet on the SharePoint platforms, or other publishing platforms
- A strong understanding of the role of Knowledge Management or intranets in a complex professional services environment
- Well developed customer facing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- An ability to manage small projects and with a fairly large degree of autonomy
- A relevant degree such as Information or Library Science would be particularly desirable, but is not a pre-requisite
