Knowledge & Information Executive - London or Newcastle
We are partnering with a specialist financial services business committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. They are currently seeking a Knowledge & Information Executive for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, that may potentially become a permanent role. This hybrid position is 3 days a week in the office and 2 from home, flexible working can also be requested.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in renewing and managing corporate memberships and subscriptions across the business.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and facilitate access to research resources.
- Take ownership of administration tasks related to resources, including record-keeping and usage data tracking.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from colleagues for access to resources and liaise with suppliers to resolve issues.
- Monitor invoicing procedures in conjunction with administrative support.
- Develop Knowledge Management capabilities by building relationships with colleagues to understand their needs.
- Create content for the intranet in collaboration with Knowledge & Information Managers.
Qualifications Required:
- Qualification or relevant experience in Knowledge/Information/Library studies.
- Library or general administration experience, including procurement.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
- Some experience in SharePoint or similar portal based systems.
- A proactive team player with good communication skills, capable of managing their own workload.
- Desirable: Work experience within a knowledge/library services environment, preferably in a legal/professional services firm.
- Desirable: Research experience using various databases and resources.
- Desirable: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft products.
