New role! A private equity firm seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Knowledge Management Administrator to join their team on a 3-month contract. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the accessibility, structure, and usability of the firm’s knowledge management systems. Your primary focus will be refining their existing knowledge base to ensure investment professionals have seamless access to the resources and insights they need to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge Base Optimisation: Evaluate and improve the structure, functionality, and design of the knowledge base to meet the evolving needs of the firm.
- Repository Curation & Enhancement: Review, update, and expand both internal and external resources, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and effective organisation.
- Metadata & Taxonomy Refinement: Improve tagging, categorisation, and taxonomy to enhance the discoverability of key assets within the knowledge base.
- User Training & Engagement: Develop training materials and conduct sessions to promote knowledge sharing and ensure efficient system usage across teams.

Requirements:
- A degree in Information Management, Library Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in knowledge or information management, ideally in private equity, consulting, or financial services.
- Proficiency with SharePoint and expertise in metadata management and content organisation.
- Proven track record of evaluating and improving knowledge systems to make them more user-friendly and efficient.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage with cross-functional teams to gather input and deliver solutions.
