Research Delivery Officer, law, Bristol or Manchester - would suit an information graduate

A well respected, national law firm requires a Research Delivery Operator to support their range of Horizon Scanning services delivered directly to their key and strategic clients. This is a hands on role working alongside the Future Law Team, Knowledge Lawyers, and clients to review the content they receive for the horizon scanning reports, review edit, and upload new content to the portals on a regular basis. It is an essential role keeping the client horizon scanning products up-to-date with new content and ensuring the successful and smooth running of service they provide to their clients. Another key responsibility of the role is to provide support to the Knowledge Lawyers in managing their extensive range of internal training sessions on the training management system.  This is a full time role but part time can be accommodated.

 Main responsibilities include:

  • Administrative support to the knowledge team.
  • Export content from the content aggregation system, Review and categorise data, Escalate key content to Knowledge Lawyers, Upload content to the client knowledge portal in a timely manner.
  • Content management.
  • Prioritisation, management, and distribution of client facing knowledge products.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of key accounts.
  • Support Knowledge Lawyers with KnowHow session management.
  • Project work and other tasks as required.

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Customer service skills and technical skills.
  • A high level of IT literacy, with a focus on Excel and working with large spreadsheets, Databases & portals, HighQ skills an advantage.
  • Exceptional time management, planning, and organisational skills, a methodical approach, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and diary management skills.
  • Enjoy working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the legal and /or commercial sector is preferable but is not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, in an autonomous and independent way.
  • Ability to work flexibly as a collaborative and supportive team member maintaining a positive, solutions focussed attitude.
