Senior Knowledge Systems (Intranet) Officer
An international law firm with multiple UK offices has a requirement for a Senior Knowledge Systems Officer to join their team for a period of 12 months as the firm undertakes a major project to upgrade their intranet. This is a role that could be based in either London or in Liverpool and it has responsibilities that cover support, requirements definition and migration of content from one platform to the next.
In this role the primary objectives and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working with the Intranet and Knowledge Systems Manager to support the day to day running of the intranet
- Working closely with users to define their requirements and to interface with a wider group of stakeholders to realise those requirements
- Review and action intranet requests via the Knowledge Team Mailbox
- Acting as a conduit between multiple parties and stakeholders such as IT, Lawyers and other stakeholders
- To raise awareness internally and to assist in the training of users
- Managing a number of small sub projects relating to the platform move
Suitable candidates will need the following experience and skills:
- Experience in a similar intranet focused roles, preferably gained in a law or professional services setting
- Demonstrable experience of SharePoint
- Assisting in the design, development and support of intranets
- Very strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage smaller concurrent projects outside of the role’s primary objectives
- Some experience working with external stakeholders and vendors would extremely desirable
